This definitely won’t be the biggest threat they face, not by a long shot. That said, it won’t exactly be the smallest either. Honestly as long as they’re in this book they’re always facing some sort of threat so just saying that the chapter 2 boss was worse than Bonetail but the chapter 3 boss was worse than that over and over until the end of the storyline would inevitably get repetitive. I guess what I’m saying is do expect the stakes to get higher and for Mario and co to always be on edge, but don’t expect Bonetail’s 6 older, stronger brothers to be guarding the other stars.
Uh-oh.
For those of you that don’t know, that’s Bonetail, who is credited to be the toughest boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Good plot twist, SUGauthor, but if the toughest boss in the game is guarding the first star, what’s going to top it with future bosses?
